Dried Cherry Chocolate Truffles

I have a sweet tooth. It can be the bane of my existence! When my daughters were younger, I used to bake sheets and sheets of cookies and bars. Great for the taste buds, horrible for the waistline and diet. I love to experiment with recipes and made at least 20 different chocolate chip cookie recipes, constantly refining them until I came up with what I thought was the best.

Now, my body gets very crabby when I eat those same chocolate chip cookies. I actually feelĀ horrible.

    1/2 C Cacao Powder

I have read a lot of differing opinion on what this is….is the hersey’s cocoa powder ok…how militant(strict) does it have to be with the cacao powder because in the drying of the bean temps often reach over 110 degrees because its dried on black material

These recipes are awesome. I’m transitioning from being a vegetarian to a vegan, and, to put it mildly, it’s been rough. I miss dairy…a lot. šŸ™ But I’m hanging in there. Hopefully some new dishes will inspire me.

Oh me oh my. These were divine. My sister freaked out when she tried them. They made her do the yummy dance. So good.
