I am into day 9 of my move to a 100% raw diet and could desperately use a dehydrator to support my new found life style. I have decided to go raw to cure myself of a chronic, and often fatal, disease called Wegener’s Granulomatosis. It is an autoimmune disease, where the immune system becomes overactive, attacking the blood vessels and preventing organs from getting the blood supply they need. I believe it is inflammation in my body caused by all the toxins we have in our food. The only currently recognized way to manage the disease is to take low doses of chemo meds and/or RA meds. There is no cure, only remission. I, however, feel at my core that I can get it into remission, by going raw. The dehydrator would be a very helpful tool.

I would love this dehydrator. I work in the medical field and am starting out in the raw food lifestyle with my boyfriend. The reason I would want this dehydrator is because I am trying to conduct a raw food study with a local physician in our area. The dehydrator would be perfect to set up with the culinary chef that will be assisting with the food preparation for this study as we will need to prepare a large amount of food that will be need to be dehydrated. I believe in the raw food lifestyle from everything I have researched on it. I am now trying to get the attention of the medical community on a local level and then go forward from there. This dehydrator would be a wonderful tool to get us going.

About I have a dehydrator and nothing dryies evenly . It would be nice to have a good one now that I’m useing it reguarly .

I have been raw for 8 months, having a dehydrator like this would mean that I could prepare more gourmet dishes. It would make life as a raw foodist much easier!

Wow, Kristina and I have been trying so hard to save up for a dehydrator! We are in southwest michigan, the fruit basket of the midwest! We need one of these so badly! We could put up so much food for winter we would be like one evolutionary generation removed from cute little squirrels!!!
