This NorPro Grain Grinder does it all, both flakes and flour. I put it through it’s paces and almost decided to keep it! It did a great job with both flaking and grinding.

I think I was born wanting to eat “raw” – I couldn’t stand cooked foods as a 4 yr. old and would often sit in
my wagon outdoors with a salad and raw carrots while the family dined indoors! I avoided kids’ birthday parties as I felt out of place not eating their cooked foods (hotdogs, casseroles, etc.) and never ate a cooked potato until I was about 18 yrs old! I did feel like a weirdo. But it’s interesting how things come full circle. Here I am, again, decades later, embracing a high raw diet and contemplating an all raw diet just for the adventure
of it all! Having experienced both worlds, there is no question that raw is the way to go for me! I find it a very expansive way to eat. I have more energy, more clarity, more positivity, more courage and more connection to my spirit.

I eat at least 80% raw. A host of health problems sent me researching diet and nutrition, and how to heal myself naturally. After all food is the best medicine. My friends seeing the changes in my health, skin, eyes, and everything in-between are slowly joining me on my raw adventure.

I am moving to a raw diet. I currently eat 60% raw. When I was in my 40’s I had poor health. I often caught colds and a flu would knock me out for 10 days. I am now in my 60’s and have more energy than I sometimes know what to do with. My goal is to live to at least 120 in excellent health

My husband and I started to eat raw when he was diagnosed with diabetes and we believe that our diets are our worst enemy or our staunchest ally. We have chosen for it to be our ally.

I eat healthy food because it tastes great and makes me feel good. Not sure what percent of my food is raw. I not a raw foodist, but I love to incorporate a lot of raw food into y diet.

My husband and I began a vegan diet to control our cholesterol levels. After only 6 months, we no longer required prescription medication to control cholesterol. Wait loss ensued, new energy abounds! We cook some of our food, but 50% of the food we prepare is raw. Thank you for your inspirational website, blog, etc. I have made several of your recipes, all successful! I have a container of your energy bars on my kitchen counter right now. This is one recipe I will need to make often, as my two teenage sons have declared these bars their pre-workout snack. Thank you for all of your wonderful recipes and beautiful photography.

I am eating mostly raw vegan now, due to inflammation. Much of that has gone away but I am still working to get rid of the last of it. I am supposed to eat 80% raw, but don’t always make that much in a day. But I did lose 30 pounds the first few months after I went vegan! My favorite dish is a marinated green salad made with kale and cilantro. I miss warm foods in the cold weather but other than that, I am enjoying my new diet.

I eat healthy because there is NO WAY man can improve on what God created–pure and simple and perfect for our bodies. I have seen loved ones suffer from the adverse effects of the SAD (Standard American Diet), all the while believing that they are doing the right thing because of the endorsements of the USDA and FDA—what a travesty! What I eat is 80-85% raw-mazing!! 🙂
