Your whole food, plant-based life.

Monday Give Away!

One of my favorite tools in my raw food kitchen is my spiral slicer! You can make ribbons and wonderful veggie “noodles” out of zucchini, carrots, and cucumbers or use your imagination and create noodles out of your favorite veggie! It is a must for many of the raw food recipes.

Here are the instructions for entering:

You need to put a wish in the comment section. It can be a wish for yourself, a friend, a family member or the planet! Don’t worry about putting names in, the person you are wishing for can remain anonymous.  I do need your name. Make sure your comment is attached to this post.

You can enter between now and tomorrow (Tuesday, October 12) night at midnight. Here is the important part: You must check back on Wednesday and if you have won, you will need to send me an email with your mailing address to Susan@Rawmazing.com. The winner and email link will be posted in Wednesday.

Good Luck and let your wishes fly free!

I wish to learn all I can of health from myself and others and pass that knowledge on to the world through my career.

I wish that I will always be grateful for what I currently have (health, home, finances, etc) and to love myself as a divine being who has the knowledge, drive and energy within to be the change I wish to see in myself and the world. For it is this first step of loving myself unconditionally that I can in turn learn to love those around me through the eyes of my creator.

I am mindful of the celebration of John Lennon’s 70th birthday on Saturday and how he worked for peace. I wish the world’s beings peace. And while I’m at it, I wish for a job for my wonderful husband, where his integrity and skill can shine; I wish for good health for my mom and mother-in-law, who are both dealing with painful illnesses at this time. Thanks for the opportunity to share.

I wish for the day that I can follow my passion for food and commit myself full-time to cooking/preparing vegetarian, vegan, and raw food. I do this on the weekends but would love to be able to do it everyday. That would make me very happy!!

I wish that I could get through school with little to do debt and that when I graduate, I can pass on the rawesomeness of raw foods and add it to the collectively growing raw food movement in a larger way!

I wish my beautiful teenage daughter who will not eat anything healthy and is sick once again would start to make small changes for the better, nutritionally. Right now, mom’s example has NO effect. She is actually trying to be better by not eating french fries and watching calories a little more, but will not add fruits and veggies, raw or otherwise.

I wish I can gather the courage to go meat-free as my first step to a healthier life choice after a lifetime of meat eating

My wish is for everyone around the world to honor the food we have and not waste any of it. It costs an enormous amount to raise, harvest and transport our food. If each of us could take small steps like avoiding letting food spoil in the back of our refrigerators we would be helping ease the fuel and climate crises — even more than buying electric cars or changing light bulbs! Thank you!
