New Year’s Eve
It is the last day of 2010. What an interesting year it has been. Growing, shifting, opening, closing. It has been quite the ride.
For me, 2010 was a year of great change. Some of the change was directed but mostly, I felt like I pushed a boulder off a cliff and then just hung on for dear life as it rolled down the mountain side, changing directions, flying through the air, bouncing in the most peculiar ways.
But I hung on, climbed up and now find my self sitting astride that boulder, reigns in hand. And I have figured out how to steer that massive hunk of energy in the direction I want it to go.
I have never been good with resolutions. And when people tell me to just invision what I want my life to be, I get little pictures here and there, but bringing them into focus or a cohesive vision is like herding cats.
This year, I have a plan that I believe will help all of those pieces come together. I am going to write the story of “Susan”, 2011. And I am going to get it done before midnight. I will include the changes I want, and the successes I want, and the direction I want my life to go in. I am going to have fun, be creative, and pull back the bands and let them fly. All before midnight. Because somehow, I feel that the magic is in starting the new year with the story in place.
What will you be doing to guide your 2011 in the direction you want it to go?

Happy 2011 to all!!
I agree with Jane. 2010 has been a roller coaster year. Unemployment etc, but to close the year I did get a new job and thinks are looking up. My husband and I are new to the RAW food world but this will be our changing year!! I am really looking forward and not looking back to a SAD way of eating.
Blessing to all.

2010 was a roller coaster year for me, with the highs and lows sometimes in rapid succession. 2011 promises even more changes. This New Year’s day I’ll be reviewing my vision statement and setting goals for 2011. For help during 2011, I plan to continue coaching with Cathy Demers and to participate in Karen Knowler’s ExtRAWdinary Life and extRAWdinary Diet programs. Karen’s programs don’t officially start until next week, but the kick-off calls were exciting.
I only discovered Rawmazing recently, but it has become one of my regular stops on the Internet. Best wishes to you for a wonderful year in 2011!

And a Happy 1-1-11 to YOU!
I have enrolled in a nutrition program from NYC and look forward to the coming year and my new Health Coaching job….and of course, raw foods will be at the top of the list!! I am going to be 62 in January, and believe in myself enough to regain my best health and help others do the same!
Thank you for a wonderful year of raw food recipes and pictures and how-to’s. Without YOUR help this year, I wouldn’t be as confident as I am to pursue this next goal in my life.
Blessed Be ~ Dot

What will you be doing to guide your 2011 in the direction you want it to go?
For me it will be about pure surrender, and allowing His perfect will to be done in my life, not my will. I find peace in knowing that I am loved abundantly and fogiven for anything I may do if I am able to admit my wrongs and amend to make them right. That is what my new year will be all about, the rest will beautifully fall into place because I will have no road blocks along the way just an open road that I can fly down or leisurely stroll if I choose.
Have a beautiful New Year filled with Raw Health!
Peace & Raw Health,
Elizabeth

I have so enjoyed your blog and your recipes. I have every one of them in a folder. I am 63 fixing to be 64. I have taken care of my Mom and Dad for 8 years now and have not given any time to myself. They were precious in my life and I lost them both this summer. Dad at the age of 92 on July 2nd and Mom at the age of 90 on September 15th.
The year of 2011 will be the year of restoration for me….. I need to get my energy level back up and 50 lbs off that I have gained in 8 years……. Time for me an what ever the future holds for me. I am about 70% raw now and am going 100% this next week. I have all the things I need to be a success at this and your wonderful recipes………
Thank you for sharing your gift to us……….. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Denise
