Our Monday giveaway turned into the Wednesday giveaway! It is a good one! Today, I am giving away 3, count them 3 things. A Rawmazing package deal! It is the day before Thanksgiving and as a thank you to all of you, I am giving away the Rawmazing Holiday e-book, the Rawmazing Desserts e-book and the Rawmazing Calendar

One entry per person, please. I will take entries until 10:00 pm CST time, tomorrow night. I will announce the winner on Friday, along with some other fun things…it is Black Friday after all!
If you are around, I will be on the radio tonight. KRUU FM at 7:00pm. (I will probably be on around 7:30pm cst) You can find live streaming here: KRUU FM

I am grateful for having been able to spend this year traveling and volunteering in third world countries with my best friend – who also happens to be my husband – and that my body has remained strong and healthy throughout it all. I am also grateful that I now get to go home to my wonderful family and share with them all of lifes lessons and experiences that we have learnt from. And of course, I am thankful to mother earth, for nurturing every living thing on this planet.

I lost my Dad on July 2nd this year and then 72 days later lost my Mom on Sept. 15th.
I moved home 9 years ago to take care of them. Moved them into a cute little house right next door to me on 10 acres of land. The last three years of their lives was pretty much 24/7 for me. Medicine and meals and Dr appointments. I promised them that I would never seperate them unless something catastrophic happened. They lived side by side for 67 years with only the last 72 days before Mom decided to go also. I am thankful that I had these 9 years with them, I am thankful that I was able to give back all they gave me. I am thankful that because of the sacrifice made by Christ I will one day see them again.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful for the gift of beautiful parents that have now gone on to live in beautiful health. I am thankful for my beautiful husband that supported me throughout these past 8 years or so and has such a giving heart. I could not have taken care of them with out his love and support.
Dad was 92 and Mom was 90. What a gift they gave to each other and to their 4 children that miss them much………..
Happy Thanksgiving…..

I am grateful to have my mom alive and cooking her traditional Thanksgiving feast. She was battling colon cancer last year at this time and we almost lost her from the chemo — she was in the hospital for several weeks. This year, she’s home, doing wonderfully and has already started cooking for tomorrow! She is a warm, courageous, ultra-positive woman and I love her more than words can ever express…
