Your whole food, plant-based life.

Week One Give-a-Way!

Last week I announced that we are going to be giving away a gift every week from now until the end of the year! I am so excited! You will have to check in each Monday to see what we will be giving away for that week. Some products will be directly associated with raw food, some associated with a green, healthy life style!

This week we are kicking off the contest with two copies of the raw food Rawmazing Dessert Book! (what did you expect?) One will be the PDF form, and the other will be the print copy. To enter, just put a comment in the comment section, one simple sentence stating why you are interested in raw food. Entries will be taken Monday and Tuesday, with the winner announced Wednesday of each week.

So, put in your comment today or tomorrow and Wednesday we will announce the winner!

You can also purchase the book here: Rawmazing Desserts

I like raw food because of the way I feel when I am 100% raw, emotionally and physically.

I went through 7 major surgeries in 2004 and was in horrible pain daily. I was told to get used to it because there was nothing more that could be done for me. I was on a lot of pain meds. and had to go to the ER about 1-3 times a month. I began to read about nutrition and changed my diet drastically. after a few weeks my pain levels dropped and I started losing weight. Eventually I was able to get off all pain meds and I have not been to an ER in more than 2 years. When doctors told me there was nothing they could do for me changing my diet to vegetarian and now moving toward more raw has done for me what medicine could not do.

I am intersted in raw food because it has been said that a raw food diet can cure diseases, such as diabetes and cancer. I want to change my health, cure my body and feed my kids the best I can feed them.

I cleaned up my nutrition (read: a really SAD diet) in august to help
overcome some fatique and inflamation that were a result of a virus.
I recently went one step further in september and am now Vegan with
about 70 percent raw meals and am feeling so much better.
I just served a raw dessert at a dinner party potluck last night for the first time
And it was a hit. I am looking forward to learning more and sharing my creations.

The SAD diet has had a negative impact on my body both physical and mental. Because of this I have made the change to vegan but I still do not feel as good as I know I can. I will transition to the raw diet for the health benefits.

I believe that raw food is the way of our future, Pure and simple in all ways. Our body mind and soul thrive on this. I feel so alive eating raw. Its like turning the clock back with all the benifits. WOW.
    Thank you.
