Week One Give-a-Way!

Last week I announced that we are going to be giving away a gift every week from now until the end of the year! I am so excited! You will have to check in each Monday to see what we will be giving away for that week. Some products will be directly associated with raw food, some associated with a green, healthy life style!

This week we are kicking off the contest with two copies of the raw food Rawmazing Dessert Book! (what did you expect?) One will be the PDF form, and the other will be the print copy. To enter, just put a comment in the comment section, one simple sentence stating why you are interested in raw food. Entries will be taken Monday and Tuesday, with the winner announced Wednesday of each week.

So, put in your comment today or tomorrow and Wednesday we will announce the winner!

You can also purchase the book here: Rawmazing Desserts

Hi I’m a vegan for 3 months and a Vegetarian for 13 years I’ve been hearing about Raw for about 2 months now and have been doing so at least 50% of my meals and have been creating some of raw recipes.

I understand the health benefits of going raw and would love to have your book, so far your recipes seem to be one of the best like Ani Phyo.

Yesterday I created a Raw Almond Joy and I shaped them like the Original one’s I got a kick out of it if you can see the pictures now you would laugh. I let my neighbor try them and she was impressed.

If I had your book I would put it to good use and would make your recipes so others can try them and see the benefit of RAW.

    Thank You for this opportunity.

I have an extensive background in fitness, nutrition, and overall health. I am very passionate about them. I love how in tune I am with my mind and body when I eat raw. I feel much more alive! I also love to create raw dessert recipes and always looking for new ideas!

I am interested in raw food because of the amazing results I experienced by undertaking a Spiritual Fast to strengthen my relationship with God. Not only was my relationship with God strengthened, which was my only goal, I reaped the benefits of weight loss, clarity of mind, restful sleep, renewed energy and life, and healing from diabetes. I have not had an insulin shot since January, 2010. Recently, three of my siblings were diagnoised with diabetes and I want to educate them on the benefits of raw foods and encourage them to retake control of their eating and not be a “slave to diabetes and poor eating habits”. I have seen diabetes, hypertension, and cancer reak havoc in the lives of family and friends and enough is enough!!

Susan, I know you said a brief sentence, but I am on a mission. I would love to have your cookbook to share the joys and benefits of a RAW LIFESTYLE!!!

My daughter is totally raw and she is trying to convince me to be raw. I am trying but need more help with good recipes as I tend to eat lots of fruit and nuts. I can’t get over how good I feel eating raw foods. Lots of energy.

I’m interested in raw food because I find it so fascinating at the foods you can create without cooking. I see it as art. Very healthy art! 🙂

I’m a dedicated vegan and have been for almost 7months now I was a vegetarian for almost 2years before and felt amazing and was in great shape (started veggie when i was in 8th grade-10th.) However I stop this healthly lifestyle and returned to my old eating habits half way through 10th grade. Within Months I had gained a ton of wieght and was sick all the time (I actually miss 20days of school due to chronic sickness through-out half of my 10th and 11th grade years in highschool). But in 11th grade my english teacher assigned us a research paper over the topic of our choice and for some reason I was drawn to right about animals agriculture and its effects on both people and the environment also with in the paper I connected vegetarianism and veganism as well as the psychological effects of animal agriculture and its abusive nature and how it effects people. In the proccess of writing this paper i read The book Eating Animals By Johnathan Safran Foer as well as countless articles about animals agriculture and its effects on the world. As soon as i read halfway through Eating Animals I decided to go vegetarian again and two days later after buying and reading much of The complete idiot’s guide to Vegan living by Beverly Lynn Bennet and Ray Sammartano I decided to go vegan. over these several months I had dropped the weight I had gained and felt fanstastic (plus i got an A+ on the paper). Over the last 7 months I have lost 40+ pounds and I am SO healthly now but the point is about 4 months ago I discovered rawism and in perticular I discovered this site Rawmazing Food I immediatly began to research the hype about raw foods and soon discovered the extreme benefits of a raw diet so I became inspored by this site to experiment with raw foods and have fallen in love and bought a few (un)cook books. But this would be amazing if I could win this truely Rawmazing (un)cook book so I could learn to master raw desserts! I want to continue down this path of health and self health (which has inspired me to eat as much raw as I can but I’m not 100% raw yet!) in order to better myself and hopefully impact those around me who would eat this amazing food!
