Your whole food, plant-based life.

Week One Give-a-Way!

Last week I announced that we are going to be giving away a gift every week from now until the end of the year! I am so excited! You will have to check in each Monday to see what we will be giving away for that week. Some products will be directly associated with raw food, some associated with a green, healthy life style!

This week we are kicking off the contest with two copies of the raw food Rawmazing Dessert Book! (what did you expect?) One will be the PDF form, and the other will be the print copy. To enter, just put a comment in the comment section, one simple sentence stating why you are interested in raw food. Entries will be taken Monday and Tuesday, with the winner announced Wednesday of each week.

So, put in your comment today or tomorrow and Wednesday we will announce the winner!

You can also purchase the book here: Rawmazing Desserts

I started on the raw food journey once I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I was able to get off of all medication. I love how live food makes my body feel. I can also feel the alkilinity throughout my entire body. I actually crave raw kale, collards and other greens. I now look at the planet differently and everything that God has created. I have received so much energy. I love creating wonderful raw recipes for my friends and neighbors too.

I am completely and utterly fascinated with all the wonderful raw food recipes and ideas. I have diabetes type 2 and need to lose weight. I saw the video about 12 people off on a raw food retreat for 30 days and am convinced that following a raw food way of life will help me to control my blood glucose. Plus I love the photos you take of your food (especially the desserts). They make me want to eat the food from the screen….lol!

I’ve been “putting my toe” in the water with raw foods off and on for months. Every time I’m off – I feel lethargic and down – when I’m on, I feel light and energized. You’d think I’d stick to it, but a lifetime of habits is tough to break. I think my brain has finally reached the conclusion that raw is best.

It would be wonderful to add your desserts to my growing raw resources 🙂 I’m absolutely in love with this site, it’s the easiest to maneuver, phenomenal photography, great recipes and “clean layout” – I don’t feel overwhelmed like I do with other raw websites.

I just got turned onto raw this summer at a lecture at a local health food store. The presenters offered a Raw Gourmet Chef Program. I signed up and am now a certified Raw Gourmet Chef. Your recipes are fabulous like my teachers. Many raw food recipes are gross…not yours, not hers…they are beautiful, elegant, delicious and nutritious. If I got the two free books I would give them to my teacher so she could share them with all her students and you would sell a ton. She lectures all over Seattle area. Her name is Mia Dalene, changing to Avi Dalene due to having to leave her old self behind due to a brain injury that raw food helped her heal when modern medicine couldn’t. Raw has made her new…you raw gourmets are the best ever. Ame Lee

Oops! 🙂 Raw food is what we were meant to eat. Food was created for us to eat it that way!
It is healing me everyday. Almost 2 years now I have been on this path. Doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. So, I put my life in the hands of God, and He led me to a woman who had healed herself with food. Raw food! How grateful I am! I know God loves us and wants us to be healthy. We just need to turn to Him and turn to nature. His creation. For our health, joy and peace. I am so thankful for all of you who are helping to “remind” everyone! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’m interested in raw food primarily for health reasons, and in seeking improved health, I want to find delicious recipes even non-raw friends and family will love. Recently had my cholesterol numbers redone and in 10 months of eating high raw, dropped my total cholesterol by 30 points, increased the ‘good’, decreased the ‘bad’ cholesterol, and lowered triglycerides. Have started racing the kids up and down the driveway in the mornings waiting for the schoolbus!! Feel great.
