The winner of the dehydrator is Sadie! She is from Texas and has a young family who will benefit greatly from the dehydrator and making wonderful raw food recipes! The winner was picked by a random number generator.
We have three more weeks of contests. It is important that you read the entry instructions carefully. There were a few people that got disqualified because of double or triple entries. Only one is allowed. Also, if your comment doesn’t appear immediately, please note that it will. You will see something that says, “Awaiting moderation”. That means that I need to approve it. If it doesn’t happen right away, please be patient. I am not always at the computer. The site gets literally thousands of spam hits a month in the comment sections. The moderation filter helps deal with that.

CONGRATULATIONS SADIE! What a wonderful gift.
I just made a batch of Matt Amsden’s onion bread which is very simple and EVERYONE always raves about (non raw foodies included!). It’s fabulous as a pizza base or I have also cut it into little bite size squares and just topped it with sundried tomato pesto, piped a swirl of cashew cheese onto that and topped with sprig of fresh basil – even a teenage boy was raving about it at the last potluck. Any topping, or none at all, are great. I do prefer to use red onions but it doesn’t really matter. There’s really SO much to explore and experiment with – I KNOW you’re going to love it.
