My eating raw plant based journey started with a breast cancer diagnosis in March 2011. In my soul I knew that conventional treatments weren’t for me so I walked out of the hospital and told my husband “I just became a vegan and never coming back here”. And I never did. I only drank green drinks and ate salads for over a year and actually turned a greenish hue. With thousands and thousands of hour of research I went to school to become a Holistic Health Practitioner and then a Certified Nutritional Consultant. I consider the cancer diagnosis as a BLESSING and my life’s purpose has been laid out in front of me because of it. I’m trying to touch as many lives as I can and let people know that diseases can be prevented or healed by eating a plant based diet. I teach raw food classes with my limited expertise. Winning the Free Tuition would be life changing and door opening for myself and those that I am trying to help. Thank you for the opportunity.

My goodness… Why? It truly is an endless list. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a birth defect that affected my kidneys. I was told that I would have to have my kidney removed ‘because it is dying’. I was scared, confused and a little lost. I went home and started to mess around on the computer trying to find what else I could do besides surgery. Well, I found RAWMAZING.com. That started me down the rabbit hole. I eventually found Rouxbe through this site and many many other amazing classes and learning institutes that could help me heal myself! But, it was just a dream… I couldn’t afford to do the classes, I only could afford the free sites and the books from the library, so I started to train myself. After a few years of being a raw foodist most of the time and plant based the rest, I ran into a situation where I had to stop eating raw do to my living conditions and then a car accident put me in the hospital… My kidney had shut down after the accident and my body was now going septic. I died… twice… however, you can’t keep a fighter down… The doctors said to me had I not been in the health I was in, I never would’ve survived!!! So, I got back on track… I started work at an organic juice store in North Scottsdale Arizona and I got my life back… I’ve been raw for sometime now and wanted to expand my knowledge to share with so many others how easy it is to heal and keep yourself healthy through diet (i’ve lost 60lbs and my hair is no longer falling out and my acne went away). I have people from all walks of life in here along with all different diagnosis; Hashimoto’s, leaky gut, crohn’s, diabetes, Lupus, colitis, and cancer, just to name a small amount. They look to me for the light… They trust in my knowledge, they are HUNGRY for it and I am hungry to learn. Why would I like to learn more about plant based cooking? Well I want to help EVERYONE I can live a life free of inflammation and pain and I believe I CAN do that with this class! <3

Nothing raises awareness in the impenetrable of healthy nutrition than being an ambassador. If like to further my knowledge to have my teenage sons learn healthier options to mealsand shares it with other granule members and friends.
