Grain Grinder and Flaker Give Away!
If you enjoyed the “How to Make Raw Flaked Oats” post, you will love this give-away! It is a grain grinder and grain flaker just for you so you can make your own raw sprouted oat flakes and other raw sprouted flours and flakes!
This NorPro Grain Grinder does it all, both flakes and flour. I put it through it’s paces and almost decided to keep it! It did a great job with both flaking and grinding.
To enter the contest, just leave a comment telling us why you are eating healthy and also approximately what percentage of raw food you eat. You can only enter once and the contest closes on Thursday, May 16th at 9:00 am PST. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator. You must answer the questions for your entry to count.

I am 50, grossly over weight, unhealthy, divorced after almost 30 yrs of marriage and I feel awful about myself so I am changing my ways and taking steps towards more and more raw, maybe I am up to 40% now which is a far cry from a bit ago….making myself happier the more I incorporate healthy living, thanks!!

Wow! What a great grinder! Thank you so much for this opportunity! I’ve been transitioning for a couple of years now and am now vegan and 70% raw. Being able to make my own flours would take my recipes to a whole new level!

I eat healthy because I feel fantastic and energized and look great! Good things in, good things out! I easily eat 50% raw on a normal day.

I found out several months ago, I had to make a life style change in my eating habits. No Wheat, Sugar, Soy, Dairy and Gluten. I have overcome the challenges with eating raw foods. My body and mind have been feeling much better because of the change in eating. I find your web site and recipes have made a difference. Thank you.

I am eating healthy because my mother died of breast cancer at 50 and I am having thyroid and other problems. I want to be around to see my grandchildren and have strength and energy so that I can spend time with them making wonderful memories. I probably eat 50% raw but would like to be closer to 80. It is much easier in the summer when we eat far more salads and fruit all day in the heat of the desert.

I am eating healthy now to recover from 2 decades of chronic autoimmune problems. I was on a lot of prednisone during those years, which caused a huge weight gain and even more problems. Now that I am in remission from disease, I am trying to get my life back – eating about 50% raw, juicing daily, drinking green smoothies, and avoiding all processed and GMO foods. I’ve cut dairy and gluten as well. I am losing weight, have a lot more energy, and feel fabulous at 50. (Ok, a little over 50…) Coming up on the one-year anniversary of turning my health around!

I try to live in balance and harmony. I just eat whatever intuitively my body wants. Sometimes I also have to compromise due to the arising circumstances. I have no percentage of raw but I’ve been doing raw since the early 90’s with my mother. She founded the Portland International Raw Food Festival. So raw is part of me. Hope I win but thanks anyways and if I don’t win, hope the person is super duper happy!

Great giveaway!
I’m starting to eat healthy because I’m tired of being sick and tired. I’m also tired of all the poisons that are in the food system, and I want to avoid them as much as possible. I’m slowly incorporating more raw foods into my diet, but I’m probably only at about 25%. I’m getting there, though. 🙂

I started eating healthier when my spouse started having horrible chest pains. I thought that he was going to die and it was horrifying, so we began fasting. After that we followed by eating raw 100%, all the way until now (except for a vegan restaurant on my birthday)!
