I have been juicing daily for the last 7 months and trying to increase the percentage of Raw foods I eat. I’m probably close to 70% raw. I have diabetes and am almost off medication entirely! I have been Vegan for 5 years and get excited when I see how much information and recipes are readily available these days. I really believe that this is the future way of living for the planet!

I eat approximately 50% raw food. I love the fresh taste, the crunchiness of the fresh vegetables, and the way eating right makes me feel. As I age I want do not want to resort to cosmetic procedures to make me feel and look my best. I want my grown children to learn that aging can be a beautiful process if they eat right and exercise. My daughters have a healthy food blog (twosaucysisters) and I hope that my influence had something to do with it.

I eat healthy because it helps me feel good. My two year old is thriving and happy and my hubby eats healthy because thats all thats in the house. LOL. I would like to eat more raw foods currently its about 20% of my diet.

I started to eat more raw (about 50-60%) because I was discovered I have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. I gave up all gluten, sugar, white starches, etc in hopes that I will be able to bring my liver enzymes down and the pain in my upper right size will lessen.

True! … Price is way over the top. Winning one would be great! In the meantime, after sprouting and dehydrating, I place them in a bowl and use a herb scissor until the pieces are “flaked”. Use a large coffee grinder for the flour, but do believe the “Flic Floc Flaker” would make life and quality much nicer.
Been Raw for over eight years because of calcification in my neck and signs of joint discomfort throughout my body. Have been 90-100% for the last three years adding homemade raw goats milk yogurt, butter, and cheeses as well as sprouted breads and all types fermented foods
Have enjoyed your creativity with stepping out from under the “Old Hat Raw”, thank you!

I began drinking green smoothies about the time my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. After watching her struggle with the side effects of the medications she was taking, I knew I didn’t want my children to watch me struggle with a debilitating dis-ease. I found Victoria Boutenko’s green smoothie book Nd never lookack. At the fims there weren’t the many wonderful raw food websites we have today.
I am about 65 – 75% raw right now. Summer is easier to stay raw, for me at least.

My body craves healthy food. I’ve had a lifelong interest in health and nutrition If I miss my daily green drink, I feel it…the raw foods energize me. I LOVE your recipes I made the oat pumpkin seed bars you posted. They were deliscious!! I think they would have been even better if I could have made fresh oat flakes. My diet is 50-75% raw…higher in the summer. Thanks!!

My family and I strive for75 percent raw. Sometimes we achieve a higher level with the summer season here it is much easier. I have found that preparing supper for my grandchildren has become so much easier since we decided to just make a vegetable and fruit tray every night. They get to choose their own food and the rule is you choose it you eat it. If I had tried to get them to go raw by stating what we were doing I am sure we would have been nearly as successful . Thank you for your web site and your encouragement .

I gradually switched to a raw diet 12 months ago because I was tired of feeling tired. Since then I feel 100% better. I am having fun with trying different recipes and I really love juicing. I bought a dehydrator 6 months ago and am having a blast with all the different things I can make with it. I’ll be staying raw forever:)
