This NorPro Grain Grinder does it all, both flakes and flour. I put it through it’s paces and almost decided to keep it! It did a great job with both flaking and grinding.

I am about 90% raw. I decided to switch to a raw diet after being on a vegan diet for about 10 years.

I’m close to 100% raw. I was vegetarian many years. Raw in last 10 years. I and my wife started a raw food diet as a full support to one of my 5 kids who has suffered 8 years from epileptic seizures. He was just 10 when we started raw food-100%. You can just imagine what kind of challenges is to convince 10 years old to give up on all other things what his friends enjoy. A raw food diet helped him a lot but not entirely. He was still suffering from numerous seizures every single day (grand malls). Finally with a steam cell transplant and being on one newer medication in the same time from very next day after the steam cell transplant, seizures have stopped. Having experience looking your own child having number of grand malls a day you can imagine today’s relief for all of us as family. He is now 5 years seizure free. Unfortunately in that long battle never giving up, my beloved wife suddenly passed away 5 years ago from the brain aneurism. It was very expensive prize. I believe that all of us have a purpose in our lives. It must be her as she was the one who was researching and finally got the answer in stem cell transplant. We thank her every day and she is always in our hearts and present in our lives.
However being on raw food that first week was changing period for my entire life. I haven’t ever gone back. I have to say that I’m 59, pro-athlete, who runs every day at least 8ml with exhausting work out every single day. I said run not a jog (7min/ml or less). I meditate regularly and I feel as I have never been in better physical and mental health. I give all credits to my health to all three – a raw food diet, exercise and my loving and always supportive children (33,29,27,20,15).

My husband and I eat healthy because we feel our mother, fathers, aunt, and grandparents could of had a chance at surviving cancer. I feel if they would have known what we are learning as a society they could have beat it. We also choose to eat the way we do because of how great it makes us feel and for our future of having kids of our own!

I try to eat healthy because of the results that I feel and see. Nothing feels as good as knowing that you are eating healthy. I eat 70% raw and am happy with that.

The reason I began my journey into a healthy diet started with an ulcer and taking Nexium for years. I switched my diet avoiding sugar and fats which resulted in a healed ulcer and no more heartburn or pain and no Nexium! The only treats that I will eat are raw and they are amazing! Thanks to this website life is delicious! The percentage of raw in my diet is about 50%. Thanks for all the recipes and great info on products that I was not aware of.

I eat healthily because I believe that food is medicine as well as fuel for my body. I currently eat about 10% raw, mostly in the form of desserts!

I started eating healthy when I fell pregnant, and have continued eating this way now that I’m breast feeding, want to do my best for me and bubs! Have only just started trying out raw, so would say only about 10%.
