I have been a fan of Dr. Michael Greger for years. His site, NutritionFacts.Org is my top “go to” for information on nutrition and health. To date, there are 1,965 articles and videos covering every health topic you can imagine. He is always on top of the latest, scientifically verified, groundbreaking science relating to plant based diet choices and how they positively affect our health.

You can find the” latest information” many places but no one does the research like Dr. Greger does. He cites study after study, debunking some information and strongly, scientifically supporting other information. It is the one place that I truly trust for the latest information on nutrition.

Dr Greger is a huge proponent of a plant-based diet. And through his research, he has identified the foods that have been “scientifically proven to prevent and reverse disease”. His much anticipated book, “How Not to Die” covers the 15 leading causes of premature death, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer and how to combat and possibly reverse these diseases with diet and lifestyle changes. It is mind-blowing. Did you know that drinking hibiscus tea can work better that the leading drug treatment?

His new book also covers the foods and activities that we should include in our daily routines. He even has a check-list that you can use for your daily healthy eating and life-style.

    I meditate everyday for half hour , do deep breathing exercises with clean thoughts , I begin my daily juicing of any organic greens & apples washed with vinegar & water , flax seeds, chia & hemp makes it more delish, I walk for 1 mile between the hours of 8:30- 10 AM. I eat small portions of fruits, nuts & vegetable all day,,Drink lots of filtered water & retire early. This habit began 20 yrs ago that at the age of 40 I was diagnosed with SLE & Discoid Lupus. NEVER took medications to this day
    I thank GOD everyday for a healthy & productive life..

    Having an autistic ( self harming,rocking and no speech) I discovered when he was 10 that food played a huge part in his overall behaviour , organic , mostly plant based foods , and only occasional treats of what most call “normal” foods have resulted in a happy ,( working in a university library for 16 yrs ) with the knowledge he has discovered regarding the affect processed food has on him. He is now 36 and a wonderful well adjusted and compassionate man.

    I try to juice as much as I can, I eat all organic for many years now, and I try to eat as much raw food as possible.

    I will eat more raw, juice fast on weekends and green smoothie everyday
