How Not to Die – GIVEAWAY!
Enter to win “How Not to Die” by Michael Greger, MD. The best resource on how to use a plant based diet to fight the top 15 life-shortening killers. THE RULES TO ENTER ARE AT THE END OF THE POST.
I have been a fan of Dr. Michael Greger for years. His site, NutritionFacts.Org is my top “go to” for information on nutrition and health. To date, there are 1,965 articles and videos covering every health topic you can imagine. He is always on top of the latest, scientifically verified, groundbreaking science relating to plant based diet choices and how they positively affect our health.

You can find the” latest information” many places but no one does the research like Dr. Greger does. He cites study after study, debunking some information and strongly, scientifically supporting other information. It is the one place that I truly trust for the latest information on nutrition.
Dr Greger is a huge proponent of a plant-based diet. And through his research, he has identified the foods that have been “scientifically proven to prevent and reverse disease”. His much anticipated book, “How Not to Die” covers the 15 leading causes of premature death, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer and how to combat and possibly reverse these diseases with diet and lifestyle changes. It is mind-blowing. Did you know that drinking hibiscus tea can work better that the leading drug treatment?
His new book also covers the foods and activities that we should include in our daily routines. He even has a check-list that you can use for your daily healthy eating and life-style.
We are buying this book for many of our friends for Christmas and I wanted to make sure that one of you received one too! This is NOT a sponsored post, nor did I receive a book to give away. I believe so strongly in his work that I bought a copy and am giving it as a gift to one of you. All profits from his book go to charity. Pretty cool, huh?

I am healthy by eating a vegan lifestyle and would love to get this book to help my family and hubby’s family protect and survive against cancer. His grandmother, father and grand aunt gad cancer and is no longer with us and more family members are suffering from this parasite.

I have learned to eat alot healtier over the yrs. Cutting out higher carb foods, drinking and eating raw milk products, less meats, I do eat dairy which is cheese and yogurt (plain whole milk, add honey and pure vanilla extract). Lots of green veggies, and walk as much as I can. Coconut oil is also in my diet.

Having cancer has made me really look at the foods I eat. I ate Raw/Vegan for 4 years. The last year I started eating on occasion some foods that are not the best choice for my body. Have been making an effort to eating more of what I think is healthy food. When I pay close attention to my body, I know my body likes raw/vegan best.

I have been eating vegan since 2007 and I love eating this way!I like to cook in quantity, like lentil/vegetable and black bean soups. I freeze meal size portions and usually eat a fresh salad with them.

Gluten-free and vegan diet. Husband and I cook a lot of fresh organic foods at home. I bake gluten free and vegan as well as lower sugar. We even try to eat raw when possible.

I’ve abandoned the traditional “grocery” items – canned, packaged, processed foods. I look for organic, non-GMO foods.
