I think my biggest challenge with eating raw foods is my ability to digest them well. Perhaps it’s because my body isn’t used to raw foods as much. Also; it is difficult to get good fresh organic raw foods regularly and have on hand always. I try though; as much as I can.

My biggest challenge with raw food is a challenge I will be facing soon. My DH and I have been eating healthy (GF-DF) and are in the transition phase of incorporating more and more raw meals and menus into our diet. We’ve each lost 40 lbs and of course have been touting the health benefits to all our friends. BUT football season is now upon us and we do the hosting for our friends and family each and every weekend and I’m SO nervous about making these recipes for my guests.. Will they enjoy it as much as we do? Will they be turned off by eating raw if I don’t do a good job with these recipes? I’m trying not to stress out about it, but of totally am! Having a nutribullet would be a good extra hand in the kitchen to make serving my guests go more smoothly.

Aloha Susan, I have been raw for 7 years now and wouldn’t have it any other way. It has truly blessed my life particularly my spiritual life. I struggled with keeping warm this winter. Also we don’t have any cafes or restaurants in australia. I would love to be able to go out.

For me, the biggest challenge of a raw foods diet is having access to a variety fresh fruits and vegetables all year round. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, it is not always possible to get seasonal items. One can buy them frozen – but we know they’ve lost a majority of their nutrients. One can buy them in a can – but we lack flavor, as well as nutrients, and being cooked and processed defeats the whole idea of eating raw in the first place. We might even see them in the store, but they come from places as far away as Mexico and Thailand! The solution, I have found, is to take full advantage of those farmer’s markets in the summer whenever possible. It is great to support the local farms and even grow your own fruits, vegetables, and herbs in your own garden. It certainly makes you appreciate the edible joys of the season that much more!

Getting my blending smooth is a huge problem for me. I don’t have a vitamix or other high speed blender….don’t have the room for it – the Nutri-bullet – it’s small, but powerful!

My biggest challenge with raw is having the time to prepare meals. I know the Nutri-Bullet would help with that. My next purchase would be a dehydrator. Thanks so much!
