My biggest challenge is wanting hot foods when the weather turns cold.

My biggest challenges involve planning ahead so that I have everything ready when I am ready to “un-cook.”
Remembering to soak nuts, dehydrate components of a meal, marinate vegetables, chop and blenderize, etc. so that it can all come together for meal times. Much of the time I really want to prepare a more elaborate meal than I do, like raw pizza (YUM!), but I end up doing a simple salad because I didn’t get one or more of the components ready in time, or forgot it completely. It would be so great to have a raw food grocery store at hand where you could purchase marinated onions, cashew cream, and dehydrated flax pizza crusts, made fresh daily for those of us who are rushed and disorganized raw foodies. :0P Maybe someday!

My biggest challenge with raw food is all the recipes I would love to try but I don’t have a dehydrator. The length of time too to dehydrate something can sometimes take a very long time.

My biggest challenge is to add protein to my meals. I workout for a living and don’t feel I eat enough protein. I was doing all raw and felt I needed more protein. Went back to add organic or wild seafood to one of my meals. I love raw food and your recipes. If you can suggest one of your books that talks about more about protei, I will greatly appreciate. Thanks!

My only raw challenge comes in winter, when all I want is heat! Hot food helps to comfort so I usually mix a hot bowl of quinoa with ALOT of raw veggies.

Biggest raw food challenge: a toss-up between eating too many nuts/almond butter and getting stuck in a rut with the same recipes. Thanks for the opportunity and for all you do.

My biggest challenge is feeding three children and a husband who are not interested in eating raw. When I cook for them I am tempted to eat their hot food. When I prepare raw food for them, they complain loudly. Also, there is a lot of pre-planning/soaking/sprouting which usually sets me back to the point where I won’t want to make it anymore.

Thanks for the giveaway and for your lovely blog. I suffer from pretty serious acid reflux attacks so sometimes eating raw fruits and vegetables can be hard on my system. I just have to find the right balance.
