I have wanted to go raw for a while now, but there always seems to be some excuse why I don’t do it, I bought the cook books, subscribe to great websites and blogs such as this one, but life always seems to move to fast and get in the way with eating healthy. During the summer it has been especially tough because my boyfriend and I have been on the road for most of it traveling here and there camping and enjoying the great Wisconsin weather, but it leaves very little options when it comes to preparing food. My other challenge is being overwhelmed with the change, I feel like there are so many options, but at the same time I have no idea what to eat for breakfast or for lunch each day I try and prepare for the next but then I find myself looking at the groceries I just bought and thinking to myself now what am I going to make out of all of this. I have started incorporating little raw things here and there in hopes that eventually I will be on a steady 80/20 raw food lifestyle.

My biggest challenge being vegan raw is finding restaurants in my area when my family goes out for dinner.

My biggest trial is being on the road and eating raw. Not just a salad, but having a satisfying raw meal

Preping a lot of different dishes to keep it interesting. I get bored quickly.

Convenience –
I miss the convenience everyone else has with being able to go anywhere or drive through anywhere at anytime. People say, “you can always get a salad.” I wash my salads thoroughly and therefore knows what gets washed out. Restaurant and fast food salads are NOT a quick fix, I think they are gross.

My Biggest challenge is getting started. I am a brand new follower of rawmazing.com and just learned the real power of raw food. I am basically still in the starting blocks as I try and learn how to adjust my lifestyle. This blender looks amazing and could be very useful in helping me make the transition. My normal diet is meat heavy so my stomach craves those things all the time.
Breakfast is tough, lunch is easy (i love salads for lunch anyways, usually put canned tuna or salmon on it so thats a bit tough) and dinner is brutal. One day at a time, one meal at a time on my path to health

My biggest challenge is not giving into my mom’s homemade middle eastern food when the family gets together every Sunday lunch.

My biggest challenge is time as well. I am the only one in the family eating this way so I have to make dinners for me and another one for the rest of the family

My biggest challenge is making too much, thinking that I will use/ freeze/ share… and then having it go bad before any of that happens ( Especially with nut milk) . The waste of product and $$ aspect, as well as the time just frustrates me. and seems so irresponsible on my part.
