Dried Cherry Chocolate Truffles
I have a sweet tooth. It can be the bane of my existence! When my daughters were younger, I used to bake sheets and sheets of cookies and bars. Great for the taste buds, horrible for the waistline and diet. I love to experiment with recipes and made at least 20 different chocolate chip cookie recipes, constantly refining them until I came up with what I thought was the best.
Now, my body gets very crabby when I eat those same chocolate chip cookies. I actually feel horrible.
Dried Cherry Chocolate Truffles
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup raw organic agave
- 30 dried cherries
- Mix all ingredients except cherries in food processor.
- Form a disk, place dried cherry in the middle and wrap disk around the cherry. Roll into ball.
- Refrigerate.

LOL I didn’t mean I’d make them now for christmas 🙂 hehe I was just wondering if I made them and put them in little packages if they would last a few days packaged up 😀

WOW! What a fabulous idea! Any clue how long they would be good for? I’m totally going to make a huge batch to give with christmas gifts 🙂

They do last quite a while in the fridge. I have not tried freezing them. I am not sure they would last until Christmas… 🙂

These are really tasty, and knowing that they are raw just makes them so much better!
Thank you for the wonderful recipes!

These look amazing! When you say mix all ingredients in the blender and then go on to say wrap disk around the dried cherry do you mean these to be extra cherries or do we not mix the cherries into the other 3 ingredients?

Ah! I should rewrite that! All ingredients except the dried cherries…you use those as the filling. Thanks!
