KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.
I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)
To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.
So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!
No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

My daughter has an immunodeficiency Andy my vitamix is as old as she now 11 years and staring to give out. As U am now a single mom I am not really able to replace it so knowing there may be something as good much cheaper would be awesome to know – looking forward to the results

Susan:
I am wondering if you are going to write your comments about the performance of this blender. I am from México, and here, I can’t but the Vitamix, but I can buy a Kitchen Aid, so I am interested.

Yes, I will be posting soon. Cheers!
