KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted.  Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender

I’ve been a vegetarian for quite awhile and have decided processed foods, gluten and dairy are the next things to go and for me raw is the best way to do that!

My boyfriend and I both have a substantial amount of weight to lose – We’re trying to make gradual, big changes in our lives that we can maintain. Introducing more raw vegetables and fruits into our diet is a big part of those changes, and the blender would help significantly!

i’ve spent the last few years at my job helping people find appropriate holistic diets for their pets. i love seeing the results and having people come back and tell me how much i helped. this has given me the foundation of my interest in holistic foods, and i have recently gotten into raw foods. i love experimenting with them, trying new things, and obviously the health benefits are amazing… i want to change the way people think about their diets.

I love the taste, appreciate the health benefits, and honestly hate to cook.
