KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

Thank you for making such a nice website! I am interested in raw food because of its health benefits. My husband suffers from cerebral ataxia. We are now eating much fruits, greens and some wild harvested herbs as well.

I recently talked to some raw foodists, and their enthusiasm and energy level was just fantastic! I want to capture that for myself!

If we all were raw, the world would be a better place! More energy, positive outlook, feeling powerful and strong – why wouldn’t you go raw?

Increasing my raw diet is currently preventing/reducing side effects to radiation treatments due to breast cancer! It’s a win-win!!!

Raw food is the cleanest fuel for my body. Its the purest form of energy, easiest to digest, and makes me feel my best.

I have been making a delicious banana peach smoothie for breakfast each day. Our blender can’t handle it.

I think it’s very important to get back to our roots and the so-much-better-for-you food and environmental conservation that is necessary to get our world back on track, and raw foods are an essential part of this.

I want to eat food that the ‘bugs’ like to eat too it means it is vital food. not like that 20 year old twinkie that never decays.
