KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I’m interested in raw foods for so many reasons! I was originally drawn to it because of the health aspects, but have come to enjoy the connection I feel when I’m putting such alive, vibrant food in my body.

I feel better when I am eating raw. It seems like it is the way that God intended us to eat, and the fact that people eating raw don’t seem to have the same illnesses that the standard American diet (SAD) typically do, well it seems better. My husband comes from a family with very high cholesterol. They are not overweight, and have always been runners, yet his grandfather died of a heart attack at 29 (insane) and his father had a heart attack at 45. My husband just turned 30 this year. When we are eating vegan and mostly raw, his cholesterol is so much lower. So I wonder if the genes we have always blamed are actually the cause, or if it is because his family has never been vegan, and certainly not raw. Anyways, great giveaway, thanks for the chance!

I am all about MINDFUL LIVING! This includes mindful eating, in which juicing, blending and a vegan lifestyle is a HUGE part of. A good blender is seriously lacking from my kitchen and I have to rely on a handheld 🙁 Just NOT the same! I would LOVE this new wicked blender! Thanks for this incredible offer xx
