KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

After experiencing the amazing effect minimally processed food has on not only the body but the mind too, I’ve begun educating myself to improve my overall health and well being.

Eating a high raw diet helps decrease the hot flashes I sometimes have- plus it just makes me feel more energetic!

You are what you eat my grandmother always told me. After decades of eating processed foods, fatty meats and sauces, and nutrient drained vegetables it finally clicked. I had to do something fast, my life was depending upon it.
I began juicing three months ago and my bad cholesterol number decrease by half. My bloated and blotchy skin now glows. My aches and pain in my joints are no longer bothering me and I feel like a kid. I am ready to go RAW!

I’m trying to incorporate more fresh/raw foods into my diet, and I think your site is a good place to get ideas on how to do that!

i want my grandchildren to benefit from raw foods and turn them into budding raw foodies-green fruity popsicles and smoothies will be a sure fire way to open that path
