KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I am interested in raw food because it is healthy as well as delicious. I have put off buying a blender/food processor because it never seems like a financial priority. I only eat raw (other than fruits and vegies) at ecopolitan or when I took an i n c r e d i b l e course from you! If I had this kitchen aid blender, I could follow your recipes here and never crave junk food again! 🙂

I’m interested in raw foods because ….it’s something new and interesting. I’m already vegetarian but I’m always looking for new ideas and things to try!

I am so inspired by your recipes and attitude towards eating raw! My current Kitchenaid is worn out and I am hoping to replace it soon. Thanks!

Hello, I would love to be able to win this special blender. I have been vegetarian/vegan for about six to seven years now. I just last year had the privilage to train to be a raw vegan chef and I have found my true calling. Not only do I love preparing amazing recepeis with all the raw God given goodies, but I also finally found my real healthy body, and it has been the best decision without a doubt. I look forward to hearing from you guys and hopefully get the privilege to try this amazing product soon.
Sincerely,
Karen S.
