KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

The improvement in my energy levels is so dramatic. I seriously haven’t had this much energy in years. I would recommend this way of eating to anyone. It’s an amazing journey for the mind, body, and spirit. I feel grateful for this opportunity because I have already learned so much. It has changed my life!

I love raw food because it makes me feel good, and the variety of delicious fresh foods is so abundant. I love the versatility and the creative aspect of what you can do with fresh living food, and the fact that it’s the most perfect food for you in of itself. Discovering raw food – real food – living food has changed my life for the better… =)

You are what you eat and ALIVE IS BETTER THAN DEAD! I decided to go raw to beat Hepatitis C AND the doctors that wanted to give me chemotherapy injections, I can already FEEL whose winning! The most amazing thing to me is, when I eat raw food, I get energized as I eat; before I always got tired after a meal….THIS IS THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE!

After 15 years of being vegetarian, I have become vegan this year and have increasingly become interested in the raw food lifestyle as I want to move towards food that is completely unprocessed which I believe is the best thing for your mind and body 🙂
