KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I’ve recently had spinal surgery and have now started physical therapy. I am really wanting to lose weight and get back into shape. I feel that making wonderful fruit smoothies will help me. I recently read that blueberries are a very good anti-inflammatory, and they’re also my favorite fruit, so I’d really like to try making some different blueberry smoothies to begin with!

I’m interested in raw food for the health of our household. My husband has crohns disease which affects his digestive system, my younger brother lives with us and he has food and environmental allergies, and I want to maintain my weight and be healthy.

Eating raw is so much healthier for you. My husband and I plant a large garden each year and what we grow tastes so much better than the over processed veggies I was raised on. We are trying to eat healthier in our old age(50’s).

Raw food because many raw foods are healthier uncooked than cooked!
