KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

My mom has muscular dystrophy and we have been trying to raise money to buy her one of these. She no longer has the ability to swallow solid foods, and wholesome vegan and raw concoctions leave her with more energy and less pain. Our fingers are crossed!

    Hi,
I have read all the post here from the various people and I agree with all of them. They are also ALL my reasons for going raw. Although, I do want to tell you a little of my experience. I have over the last 5 years given up on gluten and dairy – and found that I was feeling much better. Then, I discovered RAW when my friend sent me a link to Rawmazing. Rawmazing is well organized, informative, recipies are easy to follow, etc. I have discovered, since eating raw the changes in my body are AMAZING. I feel so much better!! I don’t look like I’m 9 months pregnant after diner anymore. My stomach cramps, bloating and other unpleasant matters are gone. My headaches and body pains are gone.

So yes; the colors are amazing, and it’s living food for life, and the phytonutrients intact……..

At the end of the day, all I care about:
    – is that I can get out of bed and just fly through my day without anymore pain.
    – My (4) kids are eating it, loving it.

    Thank you Rawmazing.com

I have been a vegetarian my whole life and have always believed in the benefits of a plant-based diet. However, as a grad student my life has gotten really busy and I’ve put on some weight (that I would like to get rid of) because for a while I was cooking/eating what was convenient, i.e. foods with lots of carbs. I’ve slowly been incorporating raw in to my diet and the results have been amazing. Immediate weight loss, increase of energy, etc. This is why I am interested in continuing to study and incorporate raw foods in to my diet — the positive health changes are wonderful! =)
