KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted.  Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender

My husband recently went to the doctor after 15 years and blood results came back with high cholesteral, he is a heavy smoker and coffee drinker. Since the diagnosis he now wants to get healthy, he has 1 coffee a day and wants to quit smoking and get healthy. He know comes with me and my dog for a long walk everyday and has cut down on smoking about 90% so far, I am so proud of him. This will make our adventure to a healthy lifestyle a little easier and take it up a notch.

At the age of 57 I was getting sick more often so I decided I needed to change my lifestyle and became vegetarian. Eating raw foods is a large part of my daily regiment. Two years later I am now much healthier and at a weight I hadn’t seen since I was in my teens! Thank YOU so much for your website and great recipes.

I have a family of five (among which are three teenagers!) and we all enjoy raw food dishes. This blender would be a welcome addition to our kitchen!! We would use it for our health and energy.

I have learned over the last years how important raw food is. Even though I am not 100% raw, I am always noticing how the live enzymes and nutrients raw foods have help my body perform and feel better.
