KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!
This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted. Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
Ginger Peach Strawberry Smoothy
serves 2
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-inch piece of ginger
1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Blend away.
How did the blender do with this recipe? Great. The only thing I had to do that I wouldn’t have had to do with the Vitamix (because it has a plunger) is stop and push it down once or twice. It blended smoothly….even the entire orange.

I am interested in raw food because I love the energy I get from a healthy clean diet. I also love that I don’t have to worry about what chemicals my children are eating from processed foods.

I have been challenged with clinic depression and eating raw, whole foods has been a blessing. You always have so much information available to us. Thank you.

Since my cancer scare for last two years I have made major changes in the way we were living to now. All process foods went out, all fresh or frozen have come in. As well as all cleaning products. I now make it all, from cooking from scratch (like I did when our children were home) to making all of our soaps and cleaning products. It wasn’t to hard to make the change as I thought. Making our Bread on the weekend is my hardest but still am doing it. So this blender would be God Sent to me to help me process our foods a bit easier instead of all by hand.

I am looking for food that will help save my life…Everything you make looks pretty easy and taste good. I know if I continue using your website and your recipies, I will lose my 150lbs, maybe stop having heart attacks, maybe my high blood pressure will go away, as well as my diabetes, and then I will be able to walk more, breath better, and enjoy life more. I was truly blessed when I ran upon your website a few months ago. Thank you, Jane
