Favorite Raw Food Related Sites

Writing a blog on raw food is an interesting endeavor. Creating the recipes, doing the photography, and writing down my thoughts for you to peruse is more rewarding than I can say.  I love hearing from you and your thoughts on what you are seeing, eating, reading and what you would like to see as we continue to grow.

Today I want to share a few of my favorite blogs. All of these blogs have something in common. They have information on raw food but more important, they are helping promote a green, conscious lifestyle. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Kris Carr Kris Carr: www.CrazySexyLife.com

I am so impressed with Kris and how she has embraced her cancer and used it to teach, inform and educate people on many aspects of health. Her motto is Make juice, not war. Gotta love that. She is a best selling author, filmmaker, and motivational speaker. Her blog is encompasses all aspects of living a healthy, holistic life. She also has an impressive “blog posse” that contributes great, in depth information.

This is a very hip, very interesting blog about green living. I can always find something thought provoking and interesting here. If you are interested in sustainable, green, raw food, vegan food, the environment and other issues, they present them in the “coolest” way. There is even a community that you can join.

chwww.ChoosingRaw.com

Gena is a twenty something who resides in NYC and leads a high raw lifestyle. Her attitude about raw is spot on. With great information and articles and recipes, her blog never fails to impress. Check out Gena’s site, she has some fun, informative stuff there.

f www.FoodMatters.TV

I recommend this site to everyone I know that wants to know more about your food, where it comes from, how it affects you and what you can do to improve. The website is the landing site for the DVD Food Matters. You can buy the DVD or just download a 24 hour viewing . The scientists are here and it is amazing to hear what they have to say. It is powerful, inspiring and so necessary.

Yes, great websites! The internet has truly revolutionized the way we get our information. I hope we can keep this last place of freedom protected so that we always have access to this great information. If it weren’t for the internet, I wouldn’t know about raw food 😉
