Dehydrator Giveaway!

The time has come to do our first giveaway and is it ever a good one! Many raw food recipes require a dehydrator and if you don’t have one, it can be challenging. One of the most common questions I get is how to prepare the raw food recipes without a dehydrator.
I hope to fix that problem for one of you!
The great folks over at TSM Dehydrators have donated a 300.00, 5 shelf, stainless Dehydrator, the D5! I couldn’t be happier to be able to offer this! I have one of these dehydrators. It is my favorite. It is quiet, sturdy, very easy to pull apart and clean and does a great job at temperature control. I have checked. Continue for the rules!
Here are the rules:
Enter by simply asking a question you have about raw food in the comment area.
Only one entry allowed per person.
Entries will close at 6pm on Thursday, March 18th, 2010.
Winner will be randomly selected and announced following the contest.
I will be answering your questions in upcoming blog posts!

What is the best way to introduce a raw diet to those attending a wellness class? What is the greatest benefit that we could focus on to get people’s attention and desire to make a change? Thanks!

What an amazing first giveaway! I’ve love to win my own dehydrator. My question: When you sprout beans does that mean you don’t have to cook them then? Will they be soft enough like when you cook them? Thanks!

I’ve been trying to rely more on sprouted legumes in my diet while we’re in the winter months (since locally, there isn’t much fresh produce–soon, though!). Are any better than others? Any I should steer clear of? Thanks!

Being a newbie to Raw Foods…my question is: What would you suggest the best resource for getting enough B12 (in addition to taking the supplement) since I have eliminated ALL meats from my diet?
Absolutely, LOVE your blog. Rawmazing has its own tab on my laptop and is my “go to” for information, recipes and inspiration. Thank you!

I am wondering how to incorporate eating raw with religious holiday events. A large part of most religions is food and with Passover coming up, the jewish holiday, I am wondering how I can merry both my raw food diet with my religious practice.

Hello,
I am a girl from Spain (zaragoza). First sorry for my English. My English is poor.
The disease of anorexia -eating disorder- is living whith me from thirteen years ago.
The disease improved when I take a vegan diet. I have been always interested in organic productos. Nine months ago I started to find out about eating raw. Since then I started a to eat raw, but I still have doubts. Perhaps the amount of information, the questions myself and the environment in which I live hinder the way. I don“t know.
One such question is whether the absence of menstruation is normal.
You to have a good day.
Thank you very much.

What a great opportunity!
My question is, through your transition from cooked foods to raw, what withdrawal type symptoms did you go through and how did you manage to stop yourself from succumbing to the old habits? Thank you, good luck to everyone.
