Dehydrator Giveaway!

The time has come to do our first giveaway and is it ever a good one! Many raw food recipes require a dehydrator and if you don’t have one, it can be challenging. One of the most common questions I get is how to prepare the raw food recipes without a dehydrator. I hope to fix that problem for one of you!

The great folks over at TSM Dehydrators have donated a 300.00, 5 shelf, stainless Dehydrator, the D5! I couldn’t be happier to be able to offer this! I have one of these dehydrators. It is my favorite. It is quiet, sturdy, very easy to pull apart and clean and does a great job at temperature control. I have checked. Continue for the rules!

Here are the rules:

Enter by simply asking a question you have about raw food in the comment area.

Only one entry allowed per person.

Entries will close at 6pm on Thursday, March 18th, 2010.

Winner will be randomly selected and announced following the contest.

I will be answering your questions in upcoming blog posts!

I know the best way to get all of our nutrients, vitamins and minerals is through raw and whole foods, but are there any supplements you advise taking on a raw food diet? ie vitamin D. Also, I’m pretty into kombucha these days. Have you ever made it?

What is the difference between “living food” and “raw food.” I’ve seen both terms used in the literature, often times they seem to be interchangeable.

I am slowly starting to incorporate more raw stuff into my diet. The area I find the hardest (without a dehydrator) is breakfast. What are your favorites?

    So exciting.

    I’d love a dehydrator.

I’ve always wondered, how much scientific evidence backs up raw diet claims?

If a Fruitarian is people who consume mostly fruits, a Sproutarian are people who consume mostly sprouts and a Juicearian are people who consume mostly fresh juice….then why isn’t a raw foodist a Rawtarian?

If you have to be careful of glycemic index foods can you eat raw deserts every night?

What a great giveaway! I would LOVE to win this dehydrator!!

My question is this: other than a supplement, is there a good way to get enough B12 on a raw diet?

My question to you is about the Banana Sheets.
How do you make them and use the dehydrator.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ricky

Thanks for hosting a giveaway! My question is in regards to sprouting. . . .how easy is it to do? Do I need to worry about getting sick if I don’t sprout correctly? Thanks!
