Thank you for this opportunity. I’ve been working on a vegan diet for health concerns and would love to learn more cooking skills.

Due to illness, then going on a vegetarian diet, I found out that vegan diets, and juicing will reverse not only the aging process, but will make one well while doing so. In the past 4 years, the illness has been healing and the interest in a more sophisticated preparation method has been aroused in me. I have prepared many raw vegan meals and now I am ready to take the next step by truly becoming a ” Pro “, and learning the proper methodology and styles of vegan and raw food prep at it’s finest.
Since I have been on disability for 16 years, and the wife not only ill but lost her job too, the only way I can study further to become a SUPERB VEGAN CHEF is to win it…. So please consider me…. Best Always !!!!

Hello! I just want to say I Love, love your recipes. I have been visiting you site for sometime now. I love to garden and try new vegetables and fruit trees to grow. I love to cook and am interested in foraging and high nutrition. You mentioned some time ago that you did the certification with Rouxbe so I looked into it and I just can’t afford it since I am caregiver and not able to work much at this time. When I saw you were having a give away I thought maybe I will get lucky. Also I would like to figure out how to cook the cardoon in my garden without it being bitter, maybe you know? Anyway, you are an awesome cook..thank you for the inspiration!!!!

We eat primarily at home and my husband does most of the cooking because he loves it, is instinctively skilled and he’s really good at timing so everything is ready at the same time to serve. We love and eat tons of vegetables, fruit, seeds and nuts but are still omnivores but have cut way down on our portions. Even though we eat a lot of plants, we tend to serve things in only a few basic ways. Yes, we use herbs, spices, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and a great variety of vegetables but we could still learn more about techniques and learn a greater variety of ways to prepare them. We eat both cooked and raw and everything we buy is organic and sustainable. I would love to participate more in the cooking process. I am a good cook but I’m spoiled because he prepares all meals with an occasional soup, stew or salad from me.
