I am an RN, BSN who works in corporate wellness with an employee population starving for great nutrition information. Although I am an avid reader and practitioner of food based health, I would love to have a more in depth knowledge. The information I would learn through a class like this would satisfy one of my personal endeavors to attend culinary school, and would also give me the tools to directly affect the health of over 700 people I work with daily! It would be great to learn and take that knowledge
to my southern friends ( everyone) wanting to learn

My husband and I have adopted a better way of eating and living since September of last year. He has been able to stop taking one of his diabetes medications (he was taking two) and stop taking his high blood pressure medication !! We have other family members that could benefit greatly to adopt a healthier way of eating. If I won the contest and studied the top nutrition course being offered, we would share this information with anyone who would listen. We would hold tasting parties at our house for whoever would like to come and learn about nutrition. AND I would have a skill that would sustain he and I after we retire in a few years, by being able to open a small restaurant featuring cooking techniques and recipes learned by this course. There would be one whole way dedicated to Rouxbe and a yearly scholarship offered for the same course for some other person wanting to make a difference in the world.

The bounty of nature is so amazing. My personal goal as provider of food is to create healthy, creative, beautiful foods that supports the body and soul. We as Americans in general have not experience nature’s gifts that supports life. It would be a great opportunity to learn more of life supporting recipes from other like minded individuals. My garden is growing, recipes are circling in my mind. I am open to the experience. Thank you for chance to explore more.
