I have always had an interest in cooking and enjoy cooking for family and friends and would love to take it to the next level where I can maybe turn my hobby into a career.I have been slowly recreating my way of eating. “Clean eating” has been an interest of mine for a couple of years and now I am getting really interested in “raw eating” and eat this way at least a couple of times per week. I really want to learn how to prepare food this way and promote it to others as I believe this is the most beneficial way of getting the best out of our food.

I would love to win this because of my family’s eating issues. Each member of our immediate family has food allergies, and they are not the same as the other. So I find myself exhausted finding interesting meals to make that everyone can eat. I would love to be able to prepare meals that can be healing as well as nourishing, and delicious to all of us. This would help give me some knowledge that I am lacking in being able to feed my family. And as an amputee, mother of a 5 year old, I am a busy mom and have very little time and energy to research healthful cooking on my own.

I would love to win a spot for the plant-based cooking course!! I have been expanding my horizon in cooking and baking myself and especially with my own diet and crazy lifestyle. I not only work full time but am a yoga teacher. And as a yoga teacher I strive to show and teach my students through their asana-practice to be their greatest self and live to their fullest potential and life. To be able to incorporate the incredible benefits of living a plant-based diet, which is not only beneficial to their lifestyle but of the world as a whole, would be amazing to teach! I have learned from other blogs like yourself (Rawmazing.com), but can only imagine what it would be like to learn and gain even MORE knowledge of the amazing benefits and skills for plant-based cooking.

Over the past year and a half I have been on a journey. After a stressful divorce I found I had developed a range of food intolerances. Since then, with the help of a health coach, I have learnt how to give my body what it needs to heal through foods. I am literally in awe at the power in the fruit and vegetables all around us and want to continue to learn how to cook a plant based diet in new, exciting and nutritious ways.
