Grain Grinder and Flaker Give Away!

If you enjoyed the “How to Make Raw Flaked Oats” post, you will love this give-away! It is a grain grinder and grain flaker just for you so you can make your own raw sprouted oat flakes and other raw sprouted flours and flakes!

This NorPro Grain Grinder does it all, both flakes and flour. I put it through it’s paces and almost decided to keep it! It did a great job with both flaking and grinding.

To enter the contest, just leave a comment telling us why you are eating healthy and also approximately what percentage of raw food you eat.  You can only enter once and the contest closes on Thursday, May 16th at 9:00 am PST. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator. You must answer the questions for your entry to count.

I eat healthy because I refuse to let the govt kill me slowly, or let anyone dictate what goes in my body. (side eye Monsanto) Not only that, but I know that nourishing my body in turn will nourish me later in life. Plus, you just feel so darn good:)

First of all, thank you for the great contest!!!
I started eating raw about 6 months ago, I got introduced to it at the local Farmer’s Market.
I probably eat about 70% raw and would like to increase that as I feel so much better when I do.
A little over a year ago , I started having burning in my stomach and was diagnosed with functional dyspepsia, I have been trying different things to help my stomach and to feel healthier, I was always tired and lacked energy. I am looking into getting a dehydrator to go 100% raw and then passing this on to my kids, family and friends, so that they too, can eat and enjoy raw as I do.
I love your website and visit it daily, the recipes are inspirational and so yummy.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to more recipes and ideas!

I am a holistic lifestyle coach so eating healthy is part of my job description! I eat about 70-80% raw and did not know that such a thing as a ‘flaker’ existed before reading your post about raw oatmeal.

thank you for this wonderful givaway! I usualy eat 60 – 80% raw, it depends on the season – more in spring and summer, less in winter… I try to eat raw and organic, because it makes me feel better, I have more energy and my skin glows more.. And after all: we are what we eat!

I was “diagnosed” with MS 20 years ago. I decided not to take the doctors “advice” to take some meds (all experimental). Instead I focused on diet and lifestyle changes. I left the rat race in NYC and now grow as much of my own food as possible. I eat mostly vegetarian with an occasional seafood thrown in. I also practice T’ai Chi every day.

I have the time to prepare my meals from scratch. I love making bread and I would like to eventually grown my own grains and mill my own flours.

Thanks for what you do and thanks for this great offer.

    Love and light … Kathleen

Healthy eating just tastes, feels, and looks best; it’s integrated with my beliefs and practices. About 80% of my diet is raw.

Hi! I eat healthy because it gives me energy and makes me confident and happy. When i eat junk, i feel depressed and lathargic. Raw food empowers me! I’m not afraid to walk in front of a crown when i eat healthy becuase I know my body looks its best an I feel my best! I try to eat 100% raw, but I do slip up sometimes. I am trying to be fully raw eventually. 🙂

I eat healthy because it make me feel good and gives me energy. I eat about 40% raw foods. I am cutting items out of my diet slowly. The grain grinder and flaker would make a great addition to my home and help achieve my dietary goals.

Love this site & all your work, so inspiring to a newbie like me! After getting through breast cáncer 4 years ago I decided to look carefully at alternative lifestyles & have only recently started eating raw, at the momento probably only about 30% although I aim to increase as my knowledge of the topic increases too! I’ve already invested in a juicer, blender & food processor so would love to try the grinder as I love all cereals!
