Grain Grinder and Flaker Give Away!
If you enjoyed the “How to Make Raw Flaked Oats” post, you will love this give-away! It is a grain grinder and grain flaker just for you so you can make your own raw sprouted oat flakes and other raw sprouted flours and flakes!
This NorPro Grain Grinder does it all, both flakes and flour. I put it through it’s paces and almost decided to keep it! It did a great job with both flaking and grinding.
To enter the contest, just leave a comment telling us why you are eating healthy and also approximately what percentage of raw food you eat. You can only enter once and the contest closes on Thursday, May 16th at 9:00 am PST. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator. You must answer the questions for your entry to count.

I became a massage therapist 3 yrs ago and it was in class that I discovered how the body can heal from within. It was during that time I became curious and really started listening to my body. It’s been a back and forth battle, due to the fact I hate missing out on fun times with friends (tasty but not so great for you food involved). At home I am app. 50-70% raw and get a green smoothie every week day. I feel so much better when I stick to it! Thank you for giving all of us the knowledge and chance to make that happen!

Hi Sue,
I’ve been trying to learn about eating raw because of my mom. She dealt with rhematoid arthetis and lupus most of her life, and because of it had her hips replaced, knuckles, replaced, knees replaced and so on…I just lost my mother this past December to cancer. So more now then ever I’ve been doing the best I can to learn to take care of the body that God has given to me. So I’ve been working out, and slowly transitioning over to more raw cooking. I’m excited to make your oat receipe, and I’m excited to continue to learn as much as I can. Thank you for your website and sharing your recipes!

Great blog Susan!!
I eat about 50% raw. I dont really like labels. I eat whole foods, mostly plant based. I eat this way to be a better athlete and to hedge my bets against chronic disease. Id love the grain mill to make raw oat flakes and flours!

I became a vegan in response to life threatening health challenges about 3 1/2 years ago… The progression to about 50% raw has been logical and somewhat seamless aided in great part by recipes from your website! Thank you Rawmazing! Your blog (along with MANY prayers!) has been instrumental in securing my dovtor’s awe filled proclaimation that “at this rate this disease will NOT be what kills you!” To God (and Rawmazing!) be the Glory!

I have been working toward better eating habits for the past ten years, mostly to be in better health, and also to teach my children a better way of eating. I eat about 50% of my food raw.

I love your post and I think we share the same home town. Don’t cha know! I am migrating towards eating a 90% raw diet. I eat about 50% raw and the other half is cooked grains, legumes, and greens. I had a awful experience with sprouting and became very ill. I didn’t blame the food, how could I? It was how I (mis)handled and prepared it. Since then I have been more conscientious, educated and connected with my food. I love the way my body responds and my soul is elated when I consume raw, organic, nutritious foods. Thanks for being an inspiration!

Thanks for a chance to win this grinder. I’ve been meaning to get one for awhile. I’ve always eaten healthy, thanks to a mother who wouldn’t buy junk food. Today I eat about 95% raw. My own kitchen is completely raw, but I do occasionally make exceptions on social outings. Raw is the way for me. I am inspired by the beauty of food that is alive. Raw food gives me the energy to the many, many things I love to do.
