I have 5 children who need me to be strong, focused, and energized. Eating raw and healthful foods definitely helps me to maintain stability for them. I eat raw at least 50-75% of the time, depending on the circumstances.

I’m still transitioning to a completely raw diet. I’m probably about 85 – 90% raw right now and with summer coming it gets easier. Wintertime I love something warm so the vitamix or nutribullet gets to run longer to warm things up. The reason why I’m eating raw is that, the larger percentage of raw in my diet, the better I feel. It makes me wonder why I STILL have to have popcorn every so often. Oh well, the trend is going in the right direction so I know it will leave my experience in whatever way that is appropriate. Thanks for this great site and all these yummy recipes. The variety helps me increase the percentage of raw in my diet and I LOVE it!

I eat healthy so that I can have the energy to carry out my job as a nanny. I watch 2 yo twin boys who are always full of energy! I have learned that if you eat for energy then food will be a lot more meaningful. I eat about 80% of my food raw, but I will be getting that to 100% 🙂

I have been eating healthy for most of my life; early on I read about “eating right for your blood type” and I’ve always found great interest in eating healthy / nutrition, etc. I enjoy eating raw food and I would say I consume about 40% raw eating.
It amazes me to see this new “food revolution” where people are finally seeking knowledge about all the crap our government, FDA, etc. has been allowing in our foods. This has been going on for far too long and most certainly has been unnecessary; thus causing much sickness amongst the population, which equals money in “their” pockets.
Great read for those interested – DNA in The Sands of Time
which explains we (humans) were never meant to consume meats; in the back of the book, there are some really great cleanses too
I absolutely love this site and I am determined to make every recipe on here! I have successfully made a few and they’ve been nothing short of Rawmazing!

The best decision I have ever made was to become 100% raw over 3 years ago. I thought it would be hard, but immediately realized that is it is a breeze compared to the way I was living – overweight, low energy, and starting to show many of the small signs of aging that you get at the beginning of your 50’s. All that is behind me now and I wouldn’t go back for anything. I will say that the key to weaning off of cooked and baked foods, especially flour and sugar, is a daily organic green smoothie as the first meal of the day. – it takes away cravings and sets you on the right path so you want to stay raw all day, at least for me it really works well.
The only problem is most of my friends my age are failing, health-wise, and probably won’t be around to keep me company after retirement unless they clean up their acts soon, and that is so sad when you realize how unnecessary it is.
Susan, you are to be highly commended for the recipes you create. I love how you experiment and show the successful outcome with your beautifully appealing images. I have two of your cookbooks and they are great for the recipes, but I also enjoy just looking and learning.

Just started a raw diet (over 90% raw) two weeks ago. Started mainly because I was so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired all the time. So far I love it, I have so much more energy and feel great! This grain grinder would be a perfect addition to my kitchen as I am slowly building up my appliances. Love your website, awesome motivator!

I start eating raw a wile back, mostly now a 95% of my food intake is raw, the reason I start was because I got tired of being sick with allergies, excema, Thyroids issue, high blood presion, asthma and using so much meds that at the end they where giving me more bad reaction than helping me, since I start eating raw a lot of my health problems are under control, and I am losing wight natural, I sleep better, my memory have improve I no longer take med for my Thyroids my heart beets are under control, before I use to take 4 med for my Blood Presion now I only take a pill one other day, my goal is to take no meds, because they will give me a med I will develop a issue so then change meds to something else or take something else for the reaction and I say no more of this. I want to be able to grow older healthy so i can keep enjoying life and be able to enjoy my grandchildren and they grandchildren s. and be able to cultivate and grow this in them and in my family. Best thing to do like nature intended to be.
