I LOVE eating healthy because it helps me to look and feel great! I am currently studying foods and nutrition and also run varsity track and field and cross country, so I know well the strong connection between what you fuel your body with and the performance you get out of it. The better I eat, the better I run, what other reason do I need? I would say I eat about 50/50 when it comes to raw food, probably more heavily on the raw side in the spring-summer months. I LOVE making overnight oats and “lara bar” bars and bites, as well as lots of crisp salads and fresh sandwiches. Not to mention all that delicious fresh fruit! 🙂

Eating healthy makes me feel better about myself, gives me more energy, and makes me feel and look better in my clothes. I know exercise is only half the battle and in order to truly be healthy, my eating needs to be as well. Right now, my diet is probably about 40-50% raw.

What an awesome giveaway! I just had our 7th beautiful baby and as we all know the older we get the harder it is to loose the extra few pounds gained during a pregnancy. I LOVE to cook and bake for my family, Im really picky about what my kids eat and have a hard time eating any where but home – due to all the “extras? that are added in foods these days. I pack lunches for the kids, make breakfast, dinners and snacks. It is more time consuming and expensive to eat raw/organic but so worth it! We are 50% raw and love how amazing it helps us feel!

I’m new to the raw food movement, I would be at about 20% at the moment and I’m researching on a daily basis to increase my raw food intake. Family illness and a change of career have made me change the way I want to live. Sit down jobs should be illegal!!! I have a new baby daughter as well and I want to be healthy to ensure my longevity to her but also to install healthy eating habits early in her life.

I have been eating healthy food for 40 years now, and it pays off everyday, as I see friends and family members, that used to tell me that I was going to die for not eating meat, and a fanatic for being picky about what I ate, now they are breaking down, ailments are cropping up all the time, spending more and more time at the doctors, they now see that what I have been doing is keeping me healthy, and never seeing a doctor, this is the state of living that we are suppose to be in. I am 75% raw, and all Whole Food.

Our family of 5 eats a healthy diet for our bodies (obviously). We also eat a (50% raw) vegan diet because it helps our fellow Earthlings and the community, locally and globally. It would be awesome to win this dual machine!!!!

I am very interested in eating healthily, but I don’t like to call it that. I think if you eat well, it tastes better, you enjoy it more, and your body and mind are happier. I only came to raw food relatively recently and am now trying to eat more, and teach my three children to eat more. Recently I’ve been offered to go into the local primary school and run some raw food sessions with the children and was looking into trying to get a flaking machine to take in to show them where their cereals come from and how they are processed… winning this would be great as I’d prefer to spend the school’s budget on high quailty raw ingredients for the sessions. I love your blog and that you are spreading the word. Thank you.

Two years ago I had my first Cancer scare. Exactly a year later I had another scare for a mass was found in my lung. All Dr’s told my husband and I that it was cancer and. After 6+ hrs of surgery I was told it wasn’t and it went to our state to be dissected So we began to investigate and changed out diets. We now have Kefir water daily, eating whole foods and vegetables. Growing more this year than ever! I’ve learned to can (water/pressure) for our freezer became overfilled. Now it’s been a year and the only hill we haven’t hit is whole grains. It would be nice to be able to grind ourself (make bread every weekend) to get better nutrients. I am stronger daily and even my husband is passing on all of our knowledge we’ve been learning from herbs and all.

We eat healthy because my temple functions better on God created food, not chemicals. Currently I’m eating some days 100 percent raw and other days 25. Have to go with the flow but always striving toward the optimun health promoting diet!!
