I currently eat 10% raw and am trying to increase the amount of raw food that I eat. I would love to win this grain grinder in order to add more high nutritious food to my current food profile.

I have been living high raw (90% or more) for 3 years now – and at 61 I am younger, lighter, leaner and friskier than I was a decade ago or more! There are so many reasons and I celebrate them everyday.
I would love to receive this addition to my raw kitchen. Blessings to all, Janet

Hi! Six months ago I started eating a whole foods, plant based diet. I am so happy I made this choice and wish I would have done it sooner. I eat about 75% raw each day and have been considering going 100%. I have been been soaking and sprouting my own legumes, seeds, nuts, grains etc. I tried to make some sprouted flour through my Omega juicer, but wasn’t quite satisfied with the results, I mean it’s a great juicer, just not such an amazing flour maker lol. Anyway, the reason I decided to change my diet and eat healthier is because three years ago I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer which had metastasized to my liver and lungs. At that time I was give an 4-6 month prognosis. Well, it has been three years now, and I hope to have many more. I am still battling the disease, but I am going at it full force with my diet! I have felt so much better on my plant based diet and would never change back to the SAD diet. Anyhow, I’d love to have a grinder to make my own flour from sprouted seeds, nuts, etc! And besides that, I love your site, it is one of my favorites and has been a HUGE help in my transition to a fully plant based diet. If it weren’t for your site and others similar I would not be enjoying the wonderful plant based bounty quite the same way! As a matter of fact, at this point I really would love to go to a raw cooking school. I really enjoy preparing and eating healthy foods!

I have been a vegetarian for 40 years, and I increased my raw intake when DX with diabetes, now 75% raw and I am a sign language interpreter and I am teaching a group of people who are Deaf about healthy eating. I met the first group of Deaf health minded at the Raw Food Festival in Santa Barbara and more since. I have continued to teach them about raw food preparation, how to dehydrate and prepare dishes with spiral grater and mandolin. The Grain Grinder would be a great addition to the raw food preparation for this group.
Many thanks,
Juti Seshie

We’ve been high-raw for almost a year. The percentage varies each week, but rarely dips below 75% or above 95%. We changed our eating habits because my husband had developed high blood pressure and I was developing weird chronic inflammation-type problems. Since we discovered the raw lifestyle, a whole new world opened for us. We have two kids, we encourage them to eat raw too. Since they are exposed to the food their peers eat, I’m always looking for new ways to get them to eat more raw food. I’ve tried several of your recipes and even mention them in my blog. I’d love to win this grinder, because it’s been a challenge to obtain raw flaked oats.
