I have been a fan of Dr. Michael Greger for years. His site, NutritionFacts.Org is my top “go to” for information on nutrition and health. To date, there are 1,965 articles and videos covering every health topic you can imagine. He is always on top of the latest, scientifically verified, groundbreaking science relating to plant based diet choices and how they positively affect our health.

You can find the” latest information” many places but no one does the research like Dr. Greger does. He cites study after study, debunking some information and strongly, scientifically supporting other information. It is the one place that I truly trust for the latest information on nutrition.

Dr Greger is a huge proponent of a plant-based diet. And through his research, he has identified the foods that have been “scientifically proven to prevent and reverse disease”. His much anticipated book, “How Not to Die” covers the 15 leading causes of premature death, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer and how to combat and possibly reverse these diseases with diet and lifestyle changes. It is mind-blowing. Did you know that drinking hibiscus tea can work better that the leading drug treatment?

His new book also covers the foods and activities that we should include in our daily routines. He even has a check-list that you can use for your daily healthy eating and life-style.

    I work everyday to make meals that are healthy for my family. I’m using raw, dehydrated fruits and veggies and fermented. Feeling better every day.

    Hi Susan! Both my maternal and paternal grandmothers died from some form of cancer and my Father had a double bypass and my Mother has high blood pressure. Do I need to becareful? Heck yea!!!! So I am currently transitioning to a raw plant based diet. I juice most mornings making sure I get my yummy greens in and then I eat raw for lunch and at dinner I do a mixture of raw and cooked. Its so exciting to be and this journey and be a part of a rawmazing community. Thank you thank you thank you for all you do!!!

    i try to eat at least 4 servings of vegetables and two servings of fruit each day to eat healthy!

    Have gained a lot of weight since I stopped smoking and my husband recently just spent a month in the hospital with a blood disorder which he is currently receiving treatment for. SO, I want us both to start eating healthier, cut out sugar and white flours Will need some help in learning a better eating path so this book would certainly come in handy in our effort to get healthy!

    I try to keep my family healthy by preparing lots of fresh foods and green drinks packed with spinach, parsley and kale. Even my four year old will consume his greens this way!
