Your whole food, plant-based life.

Monday Give Away!

One of my favorite tools in my raw food kitchen is my spiral slicer! You can make ribbons and wonderful veggie “noodles” out of zucchini, carrots, and cucumbers or use your imagination and create noodles out of your favorite veggie! It is a must for many of the raw food recipes.

Here are the instructions for entering:

You need to put a wish in the comment section. It can be a wish for yourself, a friend, a family member or the planet! Don’t worry about putting names in, the person you are wishing for can remain anonymous.  I do need your name. Make sure your comment is attached to this post.

You can enter between now and tomorrow (Tuesday, October 12) night at midnight. Here is the important part: You must check back on Wednesday and if you have won, you will need to send me an email with your mailing address to Susan@Rawmazing.com. I sent a wish yesterday, but I don’t see it in the list. My wish is for my sister, she struggles daily with her illness, that she sees and believes what I see in raw food lifestyle. Small changes will make her feel better if not cure her.

I wish for people’s eyes to be opened to the realities of our food industry today. Cheaper is not always better, and faster is not always easier. I have learned that the best way to explain your beliefs (no matter what they are) is leading by example…that’s all it takes. People will see you – they will see that you are eating different, making different food choices. They will notice. It might not be right away – it might be years from now when it sinks in – but everything we do makes a difference. And when they come to the decision to change their lifestyle of eating – it will be amazing. Keep it up friends – keep your chin up. You are making a difference not only in your life – but in others as well. I just know it 🙂

I really wish for eyes to be opened, ears to hear and hearts to be softened to the way of Raw Vegan foods for everyone. I had to see for myself that man made foods were destroying me and now I am SET FREE. It’s an amazing feeling and I never want to let it go. I made this lifegiving, lifesaving decision and will never look back. REAL Food is RAWMAZING!

My wish is that I would have the knowledge and will power to become a raw foodist. I had a dream several years ago that my diet was changing then in my dream I heard the words, “You will be satisfied with the bread of vegetables”. Oh my! How many times I have tried and failed. I would even be happy if I could start out by eating a mixture of raw and cooked vegetables and gradually build to an 80% raw diet. How do we do it when we live in a fast pace, instant society and everywhere we go we see and smell foods that are so temptatious, but yet so harmful to the body. I recall a quote from a renown author, “Who can deliver me from this body of death?” Your website is a blessing, and I will (in time) succeed!…Joy from Troy
