My big challenge is working away and staying RAW. I pack all my crackers and breads and pizza base but I miss my smoothies sooooo badly I just chew a lot on the greens that are offered. And these are not organic but hey every 3 weeks I am home again for a week of green cleansing. Be good to be able to do that away a swell! Thanks

My biggest challenge is time to create the raw foods i love most. Also a nutri- bullet would help me make individual servings and take up less room than other kitchen appliances. (-:

My biggest challenge is having enough prep time while not living in the kitchen all day!

My biggest challenge is traveling, of which I have done much lately. I have been bringing my Vitamix with me but that has been kind of tough, due to the size of it, on some of my trips.

My biggest challenge is time management and instant gratification. I’ve yet to reconcile the two. I wish I had more recipes like the cranberry orange cookies and the new, wonderful lemon scones! It is the best thing to wake up to those for breakfast 🙂

My biggest challenge is definitely the pressure I’m under by everyone around me. Living in a small town in Portugal, I find it really hard to feel “normal” by eating this way. Gastronomy takes a huge part in everyone’s life in this country but it’s the complete opposite of the raw food lifestyle – lots of sausage, deep fried food, heavily cooked meals, etc. – very hard to get away from since it’s so deep into our culture. When someone sees me snacking on half a watermelon I’m stared at like an alien, nobody understands when I suggest a hang out at a park over going out for dinner and socialising over food and beer, and the list goes on. It’s ironic that agriculture is so prominent in our country (literally every other family owns an organic garden/farm) and they don’t appreciate it the way that I do. I never try to impose my beliefs on anyone around me, I just wish that everyone could see how happy and healthy I’ve been since I started the raw lifestyle!
Thank you so much, your blog is inspiring 🙂

Raw Eating is fairly new to me. I lost 140 pounds several years ago and keeping it off is a struggle every day. I have been very diligent about Organic food and have incorporated some RAW ( have a friend who is totally RAW and has been very helpful along with blogsite’s like yours), GF was a big challenge but feel so much better without wheat in my diet, removed all artificial sweeteners/colors/ etc. I traveled for business the last two years every week and the Nutribullet would have been a big help in my hotel room. Also fixing somethig for me (Single portion) would be much easier with Nutribullet rather than dragging out the Cuisinart —What a great idea! I agree with the other women it IS A CHALLENGE cooking raw for friends but must admit they have loved many of my recipes and did not know they were eating RAW 🙂
Your generosity is appreciated and your recipes much admired. THANK YOU and keeping all your wonderful information coming.

My biggest issue with RAW/VEgan is traveling…I am on the road constantly for my job and its sometimes impossible not to live off nuts and apples…I would love to have this for my up coming trip to europe!

My biggest challenge is emotional eating. I realize how often I will turn to food to feel better and I will want something sweet or crunchy and salty. I find though the more I eat clean the less I want to eat something unhealthy for me. The other challenge is just being organized to have a plan for the week. When I do have a plan I find I eat more variety, more creatively, spend less money, and don’t find myself starving with no clue what I’m going to make.
