My biggest challenge to eating healthy is my thyroid problems , and also trying to get my kids and husband to eat healthy

Challenge is the hubby has pancreatic cancer which is stable at this time. However, we are out and about every day doing Physical Therapy, Doctor appts., dentist, shopping, seeing grandchildren and eating in restaurants or friends, families homes. It’s very difficult to eat healthy and clean when at the above places – restaurants office salads – but when you are looking at the menu, well………. – friends and families make what they like to eat and it’s always junk food and they usually don’t let you know what they are serving so you can bring your own food (and most times we have no time to prepare our own). I cook healthy (at least for me) at least 95 percent of the time when I’m at home! Thanks for this generous opportunity to win your books. Your food always looks so beautiful.

Eating out is my biggest challenge

My biggest challenge is time. As a working mother & wife, life tends to become, well, a bit hectic. However, I am learning how to time manage a bit better. What I’ve learned so far is that raw cooking is actually a lot simpler than it looks; the prep time alone for most of my meals and desserts are far less than when cooking with traditional methods. The current challenge is learning just how many raw meals to prepare, as this cuisine tends to or can spoil quickly (because it’s living food, of course). Once I’ve accomplished this transitioning goal I will have a household full of raw (vegan) food-ists; which in my mind equates to living a naturally medicinal, whole-foods life-style that in-turn, affords I and my family with the ability to achieve overall optimal health.

My biggest challenge to eating healthy is the cold weather. I can eat raw all summer long but when it gets cold I just want some warm comfort foods, which aren’t always that healthy.

My biggest challenge is prepping food while having a super busy schedule (late nights, early mornings and weekend work hours) and continually changing locations. I’m rarely in the same location from day to day. I also easily tire of the same options daily.

My biggest challenge is TIME! Working full time, tending to 3 kids and a wonderful wife leaves very little time.
