KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted.  Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender

The raw food diet was key in helping me discover and weed out my food intolerances and heal my body. Although I don’t eat 100% raw anymore, I still use many of the principles of the raw food diet to choose how I eat now. Learning about raw foods has also had a lasting culinary effect—it opened my eyes and changed the way I look at food as ingredients. Preparing raw food recipes not only requires creativity in the kitchen, but it really makes you have to understand each food and how it will work (or not work) in a recipe. I learned to love simple, clean flavours and to appreciate each ingredient for its own characteristics and taste.

I feel soooo much better on raw!!
Thanks for giving this blender a Rawmazing review – I just gave one as a wedding present (since I am all about blending), so now I am even more psyched to know they can use it to make awesome raw smoothies!!

I am interested in raw food because, it is the way I believe our Father wanted us to eat it, and because it makes me feel so much better.
