KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I’m a newbie and I have just started adding more raw food, so far I really enjoy the thought of true real goodness in food.

Whenever I see gourmet pictures of raw food, it just whets my appetite knowing that only wholesome goodness and love were key ingredients. This is why I am interested in raw food, especially the pictures that motivate me to make more.
On a side note, the watts used by this blender are much less than the VitaMix and BlendTec; this is a desirable feature for someone off-grid.

Wow, your Ginger Peach Strawberry Smooth look great. I am interested in a Raw foods lifestyle because I am at this point in my life to young to have high BP, swelling or edema in my legs and to have no energy.I want to be healthy, play with my 3 children out in the yard and enjoy like without the weight. I truly believe this is the lifestyle for my family. Thank you and have a blessed day…Michelle

I feel that eating raw is not only healthy but almost a spiritual thing, the freshness of something you just grew or bought at your local farmers market, it’s like eating the earth, sunshine and air all at once. I know that may sound weird but it’s how I feel when I nourish myself with something that simple and pure.

Thank you for the great giveaway, my fingers are crossed as I’m using a 20+ year old blender at the moment which is ready to give out!

My husband and I have doing 80% raw since 2005. Raw is so much better. All the wonderful healthy nutrients are still in raw food. When we first started, my husband had acid reflux and asthma. After abut 6 months, his asthma and acid reflux left his body. The raw food tastes much better. Since we are both retired, we do alot of volunteering and helping where we are needed. Raw makes it easy to make a vegetable and fruit or just a fruit smoothie and head where we need to go. We try to follow a raw diet. If you look in the Bible at Genesis 1:29, God gives us all the raw food we need. We also juice carrots, celery and apples.

Whenever I eat and prepare raw food recipes I know that I will be rejuvinated from the poweful enzymes in the ingredients.

I eat raw for HEALTH and long LIFE! 🙂 I need a new blender since I gave my Vitamix to my daughter! I was a big fan of Vitamix, but if this is just as good and cheaper… woohoo!
