KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

No fancy food photography today. I was hungry. And too excited to get this posted.  Hurry up and enter before I decide to keep this little beauty! If you can’t wait until Friday, you can find one here: KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender

I become a raw food junkie when my yoga studio offered a 33 day raw food and yoga workshop and it changed my life.

I love eating raw food because it makes me feel more energized. It’s been two years now – of some stops and starts – but I know how good I feel when I’m eating raw. Thanks for the chance to enter the contest for the blender.

I love raw food for it’s energy which I lack due to a B12 deficiency. I do make some raw foods but not as much as I would like to as my current blender kinda sucks. I also would love to be able to make more raw recipes as in the long run it will cut down on waste (no more buying packaged hummus and soups!) I am also a firm believer in that fresh, raw, nutrient rich foods lead to a healthy life and prevents disease.

I believe raw foods retain more nutrients and are better for us.

I suffered for 20+ years with multiple autoimmune problems, and being on prednisone for much of that time, I gained a lot of weight. And because of that, I recently developed type 2 diabetes. Finally decided enough is enough, and began juicing and eating a raw diet a couple months ago. I am feeling better than I have in a very long time, sleeping better, and the weight is melting off. There is no going back – raw for life!

Raw food suppose to be good for you. Help you to become more heart healthy! I’d love a chance at this amazing speed blender! I still have mine from hub’s college days (over 30 years ago) and it is on its last legs!
