KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Give Away!

This contest has ended.

I couldn’t help myself. I saw a video on how the KitchenAid blender beat both the Vitamix and the Blendtec blenders in a test. Considering it is about 1/4 to 1/3rd the price, I just had to get one and put it through it’s paces. So for the next few days, I will be blending and reporting. And on Friday…because I want you all to know how much I appreciate you, I will be giving it away! (Make sure you read the rules below or your entry won’t count.)

To enter, simply leave a comment in the comment section telling me why you are interested in raw food. It can be as simple as one word, or as long as you like. I will pick a winner on Friday with a random number generator and announce who won on Friday. Entries will close at noon on Friday.

So far, I am pretty darn impressed. This is what I am eating for lunch. Right this minute. Slurp!

I began a vegan diet of 90 percent raw food to help my husband lower his cholesterol. After 6 months, he was completely off medication and had lost 30 pounds! I benefited with weight loss also and I no longer gain and lose weight as I have in the past. We continue to enjoy this style of eating and remain vegan after 2 1/2 years and will never go back. We appreciate your recipes and inspiration. Your work will make a difference in the lives of many. I hope that all that you give to others returns to you ten-fold. Thank you for everything.

I love raw food because it contains all of its energy and is absolutely delicious. Like you, I am not 100% raw, but I’m finding ways to work more raw food into my diet every day. Thanks for the great articles and recipes!

I would be very interested in the blender. I am in the process of going raw foodist and I have not one to use to mix food combinations. Thanks! 🙂

For HEALTH! And for taste, I am interested in eating more raw food.

That is such great news that this blender compares so well to the Vitamix. I was saving for a dehydrator first, but will check this one out. Unless I win one.

Thank you for all the amazing pictures and recipes that are so inspiring. I’ve loved everything I’ve made so far.
